2011 Knowledge Economy ScoreCard -  Our Action Team is taking at look at the current state of Nova Scotia’s knowledge economy and will compare progress to benchmarks established in our Report Cards since 1998.  They include research & development, lifelong learning, venture capital, business start-ups, technology adoption, productivity, exports, immigration and employment growth, to name a few.  If you are interested in the province’s economy, our productivity and competitiveness, or how Nova Scotia stacks up, you are welcome to join the team of volunteers who will guide the report’s development.

Environmental Performance of Agriculture in NS

HALIFAX, NS – September 16, 2009 

Today novaknowledge and the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA) released a report assessing the environmental performance of Nova Scotia’s agricultural sector.  Since 1995, under  the leadership of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA), the industry has developed programs and initiatives to assess and address environmental risk.  Determined to understand progress to date, the NSFA commissioned novaknowledge to produce a Report Card.
